License

You can

• Use the template for your own resume, CV or cover letter, as many times as you like.
• Change the text, colours, layout and photo, and remove anything you don't need.
• Save, print and export your document in any format, and send it to employers, recruiters and anyone else.
• Keep using the files after your job search, with no time limit.

You can't

• Share, upload, give away or resell the template files or the Google Docs links, even changed or for free.
• Use the template to make documents for other people as a paid service, such as resume writing for clients.
• Use the design inside a template, product or service of your own, or present the design as your own work.

If you'd like to use a template for someone else, or in a way that isn't covered here, write to hello@vesperpaper.com and we'll find a way.

Who owns what

Your words and your details are yours. The template design and files stay ours: you get a license to use them, not ownership of them.

Fonts

The templates use free fonts from Google Fonts, released under the SIL Open Font License. They aren't part of this license and aren't inside the pack. The setup guide links to each font so you can download it from the source.

Sample photos and text

The portraits in our templates and mockups are AI-generated, and the names and text are made up. They are there to show the layout. Please replace them with your own and don't reuse the sample photos elsewhere.

If the license is broken

If the files are shared or resold against this license, the license for that purchase ends, and we may ask for the copies to be taken down.
